Fun Fall Weekend!

We visited a pumpkin patch & farm this weekend. Avery had a great time picking out her pumpkins - some big, some small, some tiny. After loading them in the car - we had fun playing in the bouncy house, riding the pony, running the hay maze,petting the animals and then finally a hayride all around the farm. Hunter was a great sport about the day - he took his morning nap in the car, was awake for all the fun, and then fell asleep on the hayride. What a great family day that was!







We also had a field trip to Cagle's Dairy Farm this weekend. My MOPS group (mothers of preschoolers) reserved spots for a tour of the farm, and I invited my nieces to come along. The kids had a blast feeding baby cows, petting goats, and riding on the hayride. They also were able to watch a cow milking demonstration, and see how milk is processed in the plant - but that was mostly for the adults. Avery had so much fun playing with her cousins, and her boyfriend Wade - and was worn out by nap time! (always a plus)
