Making Cookies for Santa

Christmas was so much fun this year - as it was the first year that Avery really understood what was going on. Of course for any kid, the best part of the holiday is Santa Clause! Avery knew she that Santa was coming to the house on Christmas Eve to bring us all presents...and we needed to leave something to say thank you to him. We decided to make him a plate of cookies, and Avery helped me each step of the way. We sat the cookies by the tree that night, along with a glass of milk and a thank you note signed by Avery. (of course we also left carrots & water on the porch for the reindeer)
