Some August "Play Dates"

Our awesome friends, Amy & Joey, drove over one night to go swimming with us and have dinner. It is so great to have friends with kids the same ages - so we can hang out and enjoy each other without needing babysitters. The kids (and adults) had a great time! Avery was thrilled to play with Kate! Kate is always tons of fun - and I know Avery was sad to see her leave at the end of the night.

We were lucky this month that our friend, Jordan, (who lives in Colorado) came to town for a visit with her kids. She has a daughter (Reese) that is close in age to Avery - and they play so well together. These two girls have similar personalities and are both big-sisters to little brothers. We wish that they lived closer so that we could play more often!

Here you see the boys (Jack & Hunter) playing in the dog bed. Looks like Hunter might be going for the dog bone...!

Now it's lunch time, and you see Avery, Hunter, Reese and Tripp at the table.

And here is the youngest member of our play date, little Griffin. How cute is he!!??
