Avery's Thanksgiving FEAST

Avery has the best preschool teachers - they had the kids decorate T-shirts with paint (like Indian shirts) and made them Indian necklaces (out of colored noodles) and they even made headdresses. They were the cutest group. We attempted to re-create the First Thanksgiving - and all the parents brought in some food for their feast. The kids spent the entire week talking about what they were thankful for, Indians, Pilgrims, and the first Thanksgiving.

We were sure to include some of the real "first foods" - like corn, fruit, pumpkin & turkey.
