6 Months Old!!!

Sitting up all by myself!
Trying peas for the first time...and not sure what to think of it?! And, as you see Avery enjoys watching Cole more than eating on most days.

Avery recently turned 6 months old (on 8/28) and we can't believe how fast time is going by!! She has had so many changes in this past month. We started feeding her "real food" and she has taken to this very well. So far she has tried carrots, peas, and then sweet potatoes...without any complaints. We were expecting some spitting and ugly faces - but instead we got a very happy baby that wanted MORE...and fast. She has also started sitting up all by herself - which has given her a new outlook on the world! Now she is working harder & harder at scooting across the floor, and she is very good at going in reverse. Her mom & dad are getting nervous for her to become "mobile" very soon... (and excited at the same time) I guess we need to start baby-proofing the house??!! Another thing we started was a music class that meets once a week with her cousins (Maggie & Charley) & also her boyfriend (Wade). So far I think she likes it...and we have been practicing our songs at home - which always makes her smile. By far, this has been an amazing month - and we enjoy every moment seeing her grow and change every day.
