This past week we celebrated two very special birthdays. We celebrated Janell's birthday with a big family dinner at our favorite local place - Ritters. (it helps that on her birthday it was 1/2 price wine & martini night!!) The whole family, including our friends Steve, Patti, Madison & Natalie, sat at a big table together. This was Avery's first "nice dinner" out with us - and she did great. Avery loves eating out...her eyes light up, and she wants everyone to talk to her. She even trys to share her food with people as they walk by! Later in the week we celebrated Palma's 85th birthday with her - all the girls went to her nursing home for a visit. We brought flowers & petits fours -and sung the happy birthday song.
