Avery's 2nd Birthday Party

Avery's 2nd birthday party was a pony party - and we had such a great time! Avery has loved horses & ponies all her life - so we thought a pony party would be appropriate. (Avery has been around horses all her 2 years, thanks to mom) We had three ponies come to the house, 2 that gave rides to the kids, and one that was a miniature for them to brush & put ribbons in his hair. We also had bunnies for them to pet & hold while they waited in line to ride. It was so fun watching all the kids and their reactions to the animals...some kids wanted to play with the bunnies, some wanted to ride the ponies, and some just wanted to play on the swing set. We had amazing weather - thank goodness - so all the kids were just happy to be outside in the sun! There were some CUTE cow babies in attendance too - our little friends Hayes & Emery were all decked out with belt buckles & boots, they were so cute I had to put in pictures.

Avery enjoyed eating her pink pony cake, and riding around on "Sam" the black pony, and "Dancer" the brown pony. She told me that her favorite was "Bugaboo" though - and he was the mini horse that they played with. She had a great morning with all of her friends too - and was so overwhelmed after everyone left we could not calm her down. There was no nap that day! But who could blame her - the zoo was in her backyard that morning and she was just too excited to sleep :)

Thanks to everyone who made it out and helped us celebrate our little cowgirl - we feel so blessed to have such great friends & family. And happy birthday to our sweet Avery Ann - we love you!!!
