Baby Sprinkle for "Pickle"

My wonderful mother & sister-in-law hosted a baby sprinkle party for our little boy. They called it a "sprinkle" instead of a shower because I just needed a few, BLUE, things for our little guy. (Clint appreciates the fact that our son won't have to wear Avery's pink onsies or blankets!) It was such a fun party, held at Atlanta Country Club, which was a beautiful setting. Most of my friends and family were able to come & help me celebrate - I was even extra excited to see a few girls that I haven't seen in a while. Thanks all who came - I love you all!!

So, now to explain "PICKLE"....if you don't already know, this is the name that Avery has given our little boy. Well, actually the credit belongs to my niece Maggie, who was just joking around and said that we should name him Pickle. Avery got a good laugh out of that idea - and for the last 3 months or so has been calling him Pickle. I'm afraid it has stuck! Every day Avery hugs & kisses my belly and calls him "Pickle", we talk about him as if that is his real name. Maybe this is why Clint & I can't decide on a name????????

Here is me with the hostesses, Ragan & Janell:

Here you see the girls playing the "celebrity baby game", it was so fun! Good job Ragan!

Here I am opening up boy clothes, I now think that baby boy clothes are just as cute as baby girl clothes (well almost!)

The late gang...we closed the party down & it was just so nice to see everyone, I didn't want to leave!

My Auntie Bubbie (Terri) and cousin Amie came to celebrate:

I loved this bib (thanks Sash!)

The beautiful flowers! And there is a story behind this, Janell wanted to have blue flowers so badly that she stomped through her friend's yard (in good shoes & mud!) to collect blue hydrangeas! And her great friend, Donna, arranged them so beautifully. Thanks ladies!
