Pregnancy UPDATE

I am now 39 weeks pregnant, and counting down the days until we meet our little man. I am set for a c-section on 6/28, and hoping he stays put until then. June 28th is still 2 days before my due date, and I wanted to keep him in there as long as I could. I feel like he is still "cooking" in there, and I want everything to be fully developed & ready to go. Plus- it's one more week to rest and be with my Avery! =)

I have been busy getting baby boy clothes washed, his nursery finished, and running all the little errands for things I need. It's crazy how every day I remember something else I need to do!! (buy diapers, find bottles, clean out car seat that has been collecting dust for 2 years, etc...) And of course the most important thing on my list: spend time with AVERY. I talk to her all the time about the baby, and am doing my best to get her mentally prepared for him. We talk about all the things I will need her help with - feeding him, swinging him, changing his diapers - and she tells me she will help with everything. It's so sweet to her her say "mommy I will rock "Pickle" in the swing very gentle". I know she is going to be an amazing big sister & can't wait to see her hold him for the first time.
